GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman was killed and two others were hospitalized after getting shot in Grand Rapids in the early hours of Sunday.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. outside of a home in the 300 block of Brown Street near Madison Avenue SE, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
Shanetta Latrice Franklin, 26, was shot and killed. Family and friends said she has three children.
"Now her kids ain't even got their mama no more, and I ain't even got my twin sister no more," Franklin's sister Lanetta said. "You all killed my sister for nothing."

Her kids don’t have their daddy no mo. As a matter of fact they don’t know who he is....nor did she.

Wait....what’s that? Eric Holder isn’t coming? Neither are Jesse or Al? Stevie Wonder isn’t boycotting Michigan? Miley Cyrus isn’t tweeting her tear stained condolences?
Why, you’d think that none of them know the meaning of EQUAL, given that they aren’t giving EQUAL time and EQUAL attention to some poor lady who is EQUALLY dead and who wasn’t bothering ANYONE.
Why is that, Eric? How come, Miley? What’s up with that, Stevie? Why aren’t you in Grand Rapids, MSNBC? Your silence is deafening, Al. Explain yourself, Jesse!
