Sorry Charlie, nothing’s free. Someone has to pay for it. And, what about the millions of college attendees that have thousands in student loans. Simply wipe the slate and call all of them paid in full? Love how Democrats spend other peoples’ money.

Too bad Rangel never had the chance to go to college. If he had, some economics might have rubbed off on him.

Then again, maybe not.

Why do we charge people for food? The fact that our streets are not filled with starving citizens would appear to be a benefit to all, therefore all food should be free ...

Imagine all the waste, if people with no intentions of really learning anything, didn't have to pay for it. One big free party.

Meanwhile, those who really want a life and to make something of themselves, can't get in, because lack of staff and facilities.

Why didn’t we think of that?

Why stop there? Let’s erase all consumer debts to include mortgages, student loans, and automobiles. Let’s just erase our national debt!

Brilliant. This will work so well!

I wonder if Rangel is smart enough to know that this would make a college degree the functional equivalent of a current high school diploma.

Judging from his ethics violations, I’m guessing he isn’t.

Not that the education you get from colleges these days is worth a spit, but can you imagine what will pass for advanced education if it is free?
