Richie Parker is not your Hollywood stereotypical NASCAR "good-ole-boy".

He has parents who invested in developing the content of his character.

He found a company which also decided to invest in that character.

Mr. Parker is a hero!

Thanks for a heart warming story. This is the kind that should be shared with urban youngsters instead of diatribes about who’s keeping them down.

Great that Richie has been able to become so productive.

I remember reading about a woman named Barbara Guerra who lost her arms in childhood in Houston when she grabbed the primary wires on a big transformer. She now lives in Austria, I believe, and operates a computer for a large design firm.

These people amaze me; I can’t imagine their perseverance.
