South Africa’s iconic retired archbishop, Desmond Tutu, said on Friday that if he had his pick, he’d go to hell before heading to a heaven that condemned homosexuality as sin.
“I would not worship a God who is homophobic and that is how deeply I feel about this,” he said, by way of denouncing religions that discriminate against gays, in Agence France-Presse..

Heaven’s not “anti-gay”, it’s anti-buggery.
Well, then, Tutu, when you finally go to your earned reward, we'll both be happy.

I can imagine in a pro-gay hell, he would suffer homosexual rape for all eternity. Have at it Desmond, and don’t forget to wear your Tutu.
Liberace won a libel suit against a reporter who insinuated he was homosexually deviant. Tutu always seemed a bit fruity to me, so this seems to confirm it. Enjoy the afterlife you’ve chosen, Tutu.

Could you imagine a so-called clergy member saying something like “I would rather go to hell than worship a God that condemns adultery.” Or, similarly “a God that condemns pedophilia”.

What an illogical statement. He thinks HE’s God. He wants God exactly in HIS OWN image. Desmond is not a God-respecting person. He is not at all a “reverend.” He does revere God.

I knew I couldn’t trust him. Thought he seemed a right man, but always suspicious. South Africa, black, you have to wonder when the communism is going to rear its head.
