This is not astro-turf. It is an openly coordinated attempt to try and increase the minimum wage.

Everything that is being done is perfectly legal.

And as always, it will go nowhere, because even most Democrats realize that you need to keep the golden goose alive if you want the golden eggs.

I know that for dyed-in-the-wool libertarians any minimum wage is an abomination, but the way it has worked out there is essentially no minimum wage. Inflation has basically kept the minimum wage at a level where businesses are OK with paying it.

The unions will forever be advocating for a minimum wage tied to inflation, but it doesn't look like they will ever get it.

So be happy ... at least when it comes to the minimum wage. Feel free to be depressed about the debt, deficit, NSA spying scandal, Benghazi, IRS selective auditing, Trayvon Martin race-baiting, etc.

Do they seriously believe that anyone will pay them $15 to work at a fast food joint? Moreover, do they believe that they'll get paid for the hours that they walked off the job today?

They'll soon find that the only result of their actions is that their paychecks will be smaller this week.
