Talk show radio icon explains his 'Limbaugh Theorem' to Greta - why Pres. Obama always seems to be campaigning and never seems attached to his policies...On right now or watch on this link

Rush is doing a great and responsible job.
He is genuinely afraid for our future. Seeing him and his gestures is so much better than radio.
He is very effective.
Today, on his show, he articulated what we have been mulling over. How did we get to this place? What happened to us? He said it is like we turned our backs and this mess has happened. WE know it took about 50 years.
Why are pubbies pushing back against the conservatives? Why capitulate to the demorats? What happened to representation?
We are so alone.
I guess nobody is watching. Nobody cares anymore.
you don’t know.... for every post here there are hundreds who read and don’t reply....they watch but don’t tell us...
Watching every minute...see you back here after!
we lost. Whats left to fight for? The country is broke and will eventually fall, thats when we can make changes. Right now its all queers and poverty.
Greta asks if there is no room for compromise with the demorats.... damn rights there is. The rhinos have compromised all that is conservative to the rats. The rinos have compromised for decades. For decades the rats run wild and the rhinos simply try to level the field instead of reversing all the crap the rats put in place. Take the high ground they say. My enemies are my enemies and none of them are my friends. What Rush has said is how I’ve felt forever and always about anyone who has a fundamentally different principle from mine... they must be defeated or allow freedom of choice.
The left can’t allow liberty. Someone posted a list of differences between liberal and conservatives. If a conservative does not like guns he does not buy one. If a liberal does not like guns he does not want anyone to have one. Liberalism is the religion of nihilism. They are only against anything that anyone else does that they disagree with. They can’t just let people be they have to control them.
Rush said he’d tell us when it’s time to worry.
Rush is doing a great job. Greta is a good listener.
Rush is in a position to help the GOP, but Rush please stand up for the GOP and America.
That is saying please, get the GOP off it’s “buy Chinese” corner.
Rush please America is selling itself out. You are one of the few people with enough clout to help turn things around.
We need to buy American. We need to defend American businesses, and we need to compete with China.
We do not need to sell our companies, or our operations, to China.
Bring back American business.
Please Rush. You are extremely influential.
Rush said hed tell us when its time to worry.
He said that a long time ago.
Rush is very worried. He just said we’re hanging by a thread.
I think he has been telling us that for most of this year.
Yep. He’s made several similar comments, lately. Levin comes right out and says it like it is...pulls no punches. Rush is more subtle, but sounding down, IMO.
I’m watching, and I never watch Fox.
Its not going to be fixed. The sheeple are too stupid to think instead of feel. The Great Fall is probably going to happen.
Get rid of unions first.
Rush is more subtle, but sounding down, IMO.
I agree. Rush has always been an optimist but now he’s more realistic.
BTW-I took my kids to Dan’s Bake Sale.
Care a lot and watching.
We are way past the “worry” stage.
We are the “prepare for disaster” stage
China is a bigger threat than unions.
China is a communist country.
OK ...the other day I was searching a keyword on FR. I went back over two years and there was something I hadn’t seen before and it was a number of views on each post. Well I was stunned some posts had 500 views, some posts were 1000 views . I had no idea some posts had so many people looking at these articles....I only saw how many had posted a reply...big difference...
Unions are pretty damned Communist, too.
China is not going to attack the US mainland, they really want all of Asia.
The Unions HAVE attacked and are attacking the US mainland
You can hear it in his measured voice, it is the same clarity he had when he came back from Rehab. He is really on his game as of late, but you can sense the urgency, a quite one, like a concerned physican. Another tel-tale sign is he is bringing in guest from the Senate, with a frequency I haven't seen ever.
Now, that's cool ;) Great lifetime memory!
Rush Limbaugh/Sarah Palin ticket would win.
Rush is on a roll. He’s hitting it out of the park on what conservatism is and how and why it works, every time. Love the contrast analysis he’s doing with liberalism.
The word got out and people driving up I-25 had “RUSH OR BUST” signs on their cars. It was great.
Thanks for the thread.
I have always said as long as people have big screen TV, Iphones and Pizza delivery, they just don’t care.
I actually think he is having to stretch to say we are hanging by a thread. He is as anguished as any man I have ever seen not including myself.
What he just said is that the people want free stuff. They don’t want a vision, a future, responsibility, liberty, work. They just want free stuff and he nor anyone who follows the ideals of what was the American way wants anything else.
Gone are the days of people thinking that what Churchill said is inspirational. “I would say to the House, as I said to those who have joined the government: “I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.”” Churchill was THE leader of the free world against the Axis in my mind. We need a leader like him again today. Roosevelt was only a charismatic follower of Churchill and a politician in search of a cause to my mind. Britain’s peril was as dark as dark could be and Churchill inspired the people to a resolve to survive. Problem is, only less than half the people of this nation think our situation is bleak. They don’t aspire to anymore than the survival they have.
Where is the Churchill of our day? Do we have a cause worth of his attention? I think we do. This nation is the last dimming hope of the world. Will its light go out?
Upon his very first entrance into the House of Commons as Britain’s new Prime Minister on Monday, May 13, 1940, Winston Churchill only received a lukewarm reception from the assembly, while at his side, outgoing Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain was heartily cheered. Churchill then made this brief statement, which has become one of the finest call-to-arms yet uttered. It came at the beginning of World War II when the armies of Adolf Hitler were roaring across Europe, seemingly unstoppable, conquering country after country for Nazi Germany, and when the survival of Great Britain itself appeared rather uncertain.
“Mister Speaker, on Friday evening last I received His Majesty’s commission to form a new Administration. It was the evident wish and will of Parliament and the nation that this should be conceived on the broadest possible basis and that it should include all parties, both those who supported the late Government and also the parties of the Opposition. I have completed the most important part of this task. A War Cabinet has been formed of five Members, representing, with the Liberal Opposition, the unity of the nation. The three party Leaders have agreed to serve, either in the War Cabinet or in high executive office. The three Fighting Services have been filled. It was necessary that this should be done in one single day, on account of the extreme urgency and rigor of events. A number of other key positions were filled yesterday, and I am submitting a further list to His Majesty tonight. I hope to complete the appointment of the principal Ministers during tomorrow. The appointment of the other Ministers usually takes a little longer, but I trust that when Parliament meets again, this part of my task will be completed, and that the administration will be complete in all respects.
Sir, I considered it in the public interest to suggest that the House should be summoned to meet today. Mr. Speaker agreed, and took the necessary steps, in accordance with the powers conferred upon him by the Resolution of the House. At the end of the proceedings today, the Adjournment of the House will be proposed until Tuesday, the 21st of May, with, of course, provision for earlier meeting, if need be. The business to be considered during that week will be notified to Members at the earliest opportunity. I now invite the House, by the Resolution which stands in my name, to record its approval of the steps taken and to declare its confidence in the new Government.
Sir, to form an Administration of this scale and complexity is a serious undertaking in itself, but it must be remembered that we are in the preliminary stage of one of the greatest battles in history, that we are in action at many points in Norway and in Holland, that we have to be prepared in the Mediterranean, that the air battle is continuous and that many preparations have to be made here at home. In this crisis I hope I may be pardoned if I do not address the House at any length today. I hope that any of my friends and colleagues, or former colleagues, who are affected by the political reconstruction, will make all allowances for any lack of ceremony with which it has been necessary to act. I would say to the House, as I said to those who have joined the government: “I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.”
We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I will say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark and lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: victory; victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival. Let that be realized; no survival for the British Empire, no survival for all that the British Empire has stood for, no survival for the urge and impulse of the ages, that mankind will move forward towards its goal. But I take up my task with buoyancy and hope. I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men. At this time I feel entitled to claim the aid of all, and I say, “Come then, let us go forward together with our united strength.””
Winston Churchill - May 13, 1940
Rush is just trying to be responsible. Both he and Levin are right. It takes both approaches but neither is working much these days.
I have always said as long as people have big screen TV, Iphones and Pizza delivery, they just dont care.
You’re exactly right. The fools are going to wonder what hit them.
Just got back from London...thoroughly enjoyed taking pics of the Churchill statue. You’re right...we need a Churchill....post haste!!
You are correct. His tone is measured. This is not the usual bit that is all about Rush.
Rush is speaking, at times, like a man who is speaking to his troops before a mission many will not come back from. Our situation is that serious.
Unfortunately, 0 is succeeding at his plan :(
Wake up. The unions are far left socialists as well. Why worry about the communists in China when we have communists in Congress.
Earl Butz said the wrong right thing.
Putting what he said more acceptably, As long as the most basic element of Maslow’s Heirachy of Needs is met they just don’t care.
Food, Clothing and Shelter. Love and Self Actualization can simply go to hell for them.
The second half of Rush’s interview will be on Friday night.
Ambition is gone in America, thanks to liberals.
The Gathering Storm (2002) - Albert Finney
An excellent movie.
