A fight between a brother and sister sends one of them to the hospital late Tuesday night.
Police said the man, in his late 20s, got into an argument with his 17-year-old sister inside a southwest Tulsa home.
Their mother told police that her son started the disagreement, but it's unclear what the two were fighting over.
The shouting escalated until the man put his sister in a head-lock, police said. Seconds later, the sister went on the offensive. She grabbed an electric can opener and smashed it into the side of her brother's head.
He left the house and called police from the intersection of 61st street and 33rd West Avenue. Medics transported him from there to the hospital for some stitches. No one has been arrested.

I wonder way he would call the police to tell them he got whooped by is little sister. What a bunch of sheep and wimps we have become.
When I was a young child there was actually a protest movement among local mothers to get a local TV station to stop airing The Three Stooges.

When young (fifty years ago) I was always mean to my little sister. Never anything physical but verbal. I was always telling her to “bite my ass.” One day she did. It was a mad pit bull dog kind of bite.
I never said that again!

Leave my kids alone in a room long enough and the silence will be broken by a shout of “oh, it’s on now!” followed by the sounds of scuffling. They generally stick to wrestling and pillows though, and don’t smash each other with kitchen appliances.

My two squall like that quite often. Once, when my son was 5, and my daughter was 11, they were getting into a verbal spat in the den. I didn’t intervene until my son yelled to his sister, “LEAVE ME ALONE OR I’LL PUNCH YOU IN THE NUTS!”
Trying to break up a squall while laughing uncontrollably is very hard to do...
LOL! When my girl was about three her older and much quieter brother finally had enough. She came bawling into the living room “he hit me back!”
My little nephew came crying into the room one day - ran up to his mom and said, “My sister pushed me!”
My wise sister replied, “And what were you doing immediately before your sister pushed you?”
