While I’m unqualified to talk about cashing out or sending money to a foreign country-having been a blue collar kind of gal all my working life, even as a case manager-that is just a blue collar worker who doesn’t work outdoors or get sweaty and dirty-I don’t have work that will provide the kind of money that will have me worrying about things like that.
If I don’t trust the monetary institutions here, I won’t trust any in some foreign country. With interest rates so low, mattresses and coffee cans look safer...
My first husband and I went to Belize a couple of times on vacations to points far south-it was a very pretty place and a few interesting historical sites, but I don’t want to live there.
I had the thread nearly ready to go, got up to tend to something [am at home today], xshub checked his mail and x-ed out of everything. Will do another one now.
