Target: Jim Irvine, President of the Buckeye Firearms Association Goal: Condemn the Buckeye Firearms Association for raising money to rearm George Zimmerman Recently, George Zimmerman was found not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin, a young African-American youth. Due to the Stand Your Ground law, Zimmerman was acquitted on grounds of self defense. All evidence of the trial is being held by the Justice Department, including Zimmermans firearm. Now, an Ohio pro-gun group, Buckeye Firearms Association, has started a fundraiser called The Zimmerman Second Amendment Fund, which aims to gather donations in an effort to purchase Zimmerman a new firearm and other equipment.

Instead of leaving a comment, I think I might just buy a new gun from them.
Was stand your ground an issue here?
I don’t remember that being part of the defense.
There, fixed it.
If you say it often enough, it becomes the truth. Or something like that. It seems to work for obama, Holder, Hillary, Nancy, the Reverends, etc.
I think it was included in the instructions to the jury once they started deliberating, but not one of them has mentioned it as a factor up to this point.
George needs a weapon now more than ever.
He has a target on his back.
That is NOT TRUE. SYG never entered into the trial. In fact it was never mentioned. GZ was charged and acquitted of second degree murder. Period.
The cop in Texas that stopped George for speeding (and somehow the cop wanted his 15 minutes of fame) said that George told him at the start of the stop that he was licensed to carry a weapon and was carrying one at the time. (I’m guessing those are the rules in Texas.)
George Zimmerman was found not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin, a young African-American youth.Young enough that he needed adult supervision, which was not forthcoming from the engaged couple in whose house he was temporarily abiding.
In consequence of the lack of adult male supervision, he was left to his own devices and made the egregiously rude and vicious choice of lying in wait for an adult and committing assault and battery on one of his elders. He would have gotten away with it, too - but he failed to quit while the quitting was good. When John Good, another of his elders, told him to quit, he continued. In consequence Mr. Zimmerman found it necessary to defend his own life by shooting him.The young youth never learned that might didnt make right - but he learned, briefly, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong.
That cop is being investigated because he took a pic of GZ with his cellphone and sent it out.
it was included in the instructions to the jury ..
Yes it was, by a judge who wanted to somehow attach ‘stand your ground’ to a trail that wasn’t going the way she wanted. Stand your ground is a defense against ‘duty to retreat’ as a determinant of unlawful death. The defense, however, never brought it in to the trail because it was not applicable in a situation where the defendant was being held down on his back; how could he retreat?
The judges action makes no more sense that her incorporating the designated hitter rule into her instructions, pure theater.
Thanks. I just went to find out more. It is pretty amazing the comments on some of those articles.
I liked the one that said something like “Zimmerman will await the True justice of God. But I sure hope he f&%$’s with some bad ass here on earth first and the motherf&%$# dies in agony.” (I always love comments that invoke the power of God Almighty, combined with numerous cuss words!)
Another one said that they hoped a gang would come along and kill Zimmerman. (Hmm - a gang full of Obamason’s?).
and remember these people are convinced they are the “good guys”
The comments that I saw on this article nailed the author for being ignorant and illogical.
Truth is irrelevant to these people. They know they are lying, but they also know that the MSM will give them sufficient cover and that the low-information voters don’t know and don’t care.
Sounds like a threat to me.
Watched the video of the stop in Texas .... Did not see such. Link me to that story if ya have time please.
Stay safe !
Ok found a link to story...says it sounded like he took a pic etc .... Never saw the cop in the video actually say cheese per se....
Stay safe !
At least one did:
"Juror B-37 says they found the law 'very confusing' but decided that they had to focus on the moments immediately before Martin was shot, even if Zimmerman instigated the altercation, 'because of the heat of the moment and the stand your ground.'"Here's the SYG portion of the jury instructions:
If George Zimmerman was not engaged in an unlawful activity and was attacked in anyplace where he had a right to be, he had no duty to retreat and had the right to stand his ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he reasonably believed that it was necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.
They can’t be pleased with the comments LOL!
“This is blatant racism: attempting to re-arm Zimmerman equates to outright support of his crime. “
According to the court, there was no crime.
They say “SHARE THIS” as a caption to a picture of a handgun. Sounds like they are in favor of sharing weaponry.
The signatures are worse than the comments.

Thanks for a very good post.
Condemn Matt Burda for writing this swill. Thanks goodwithagun.
What’s up with this?
Buckeye Firearms Association (donations)
Buckeye Firearms Foundation Raises Thousands to Buy Zimmerman New Gun
Nice - actions speak louder than words...
‘May have sent it out’ would be more accurate than to say he sent it for sure.
Very few, but Zimmerman's position was even worse. According to Zimmerman, Martin had noticed that he had the gun. Zimmerman's jacket had fallen open while he was squirming underneath Martin so he could move his head off the concrete and onto the grass. Martin said, "You're doing to die tonight motherf*****!" and tried to grab Zimmerman's gun. George got to it first, and used it immediately.
That's Zimmerman's story. It makes sense and is consistent with the known evidence.
Once Martin noticed the gun, the fight became about who could get to the gun first. Forget the fistfight, this was a to-the-death battle for the gun.
Then why condemn Zimmerman for protecting himself?
There are obviously many factors at work, but here's one: I bet if a pollster asked black Americans who disagree with the verdict about the details of what happened that night, they would be shown to be abysmally ignorant of the known evidence and of Zimmerman's description of what happened. They hide from the truth, so Zimmerman has to hide from them.
The City of Forney said it will not discipline an officer who took an iPhone photo of George Zimmerman’s driver’s license during a traffic stop one week ago.
The sound of an iPhone camera click’ can be heard on dashcam footage while the officer was in his squad car calling in Zimmerman’s driver’s license information.
After that you can hear the ‘unlock’ sound and typing on the keyboard.
The city manager said the officer took the photo and sent it to his lieutenant. The officer told city officials he wanted his superiors to be aware of who he stopped in case there were questions from the media.
