100,000 Bees Removed From Cypress Family's Tree
KHOU ^ | August 2, 2013 | Sherry Williams

A bee removal expert took care of the thousands of bees that had been busy building a huge hive in a Cypress woman’s front yard.

One beekeeper told Cheryl Best that 100,000 bees were living in the hive.

That all changed Friday with the help of bee expert Anthony Samilo.

“We call this a tree hugger, bees that build on the sides of trees,” he said. “The bees are going to get plenty aggressive when I get up there, and they are probably going to attack anybody on the ground.”

When the bees started to swarm, curious neighbors who were watching soon went inside, and left Samilo to handle the removal. Armed with a shop vac and perched on a cherry picker high in the air, Samilo patiently vaccumed all the bees. He seemed to ignore the pain from multiple stings.

100,000 Bees Removed From Cypress Family's Tree

I knew it all the time - we've all descended from the bees!

We used a shop vac to remove the denizens of a nest of burrowing wasps. We plugged the end of the hose afterwards and I left the shop vac in a shed for a couple of weeks, then decided to open it up and get some dead wasps for my grand daughter to take to school for their science class.

All we found was one dead wasp and lots of parts...Apparently they ate each other.

Given the whole colony-collapse disorder thing going around, I have to ask: is that a good thing, or bad?

Killer Bees Getting Second Life... While Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) Stings Honey Hives.

Buzz Around Town.    Africanized honey bees are claiming to be victims of racial profiling; but this does not extract from the fact that normal honey queens must contend with broken homes, bee HIV/AIDS and Smokey hives.

Africanized Bees are also referred to as Killer Bees, due to their aggressive territorial gang up defensive behavior. Africanized bees look like any other bees, except for their aggressiveness and gangster style ling.

They live in the crack house beside Smooches' Sexy Plus Style Boutique in boom box hives__ you'll hear these hives booming instead of buzzing. The Africanized drone male bees will always be kickin' it getting a buzz: carrying bats, chains and numchucks; while chilling to the tomming of their bee keeping their old school of bush boogie from artists such as: Pollen8or, Ice-Bee, Snoop Bee, Bee. Diddy, Bee-Pain, Ludabee, Soulja-Bee, N-I-Bee Ganksta, MC Bee, Beestie Boys, Black Eyed Bees, BeeKon, Be-Yo, Will.I.Bee, Smoker and Sting a.k.a. Stang.

It is suspected that for Africanized bees, honey production is just a front for various illegal activities. Using EcstasB brood food, they build-up a swarming foundation of royal jelly lubricant and treat female bees as workers and call them foul mouthed nasty names such as ho's and bee-yotches. Demanding honeying up to the holes up in their drawers.

These Africanized bees are never ignorant about getting goals accomplished when it comes to the birds and the bees on a bee-line to TCBeeY.

But the horney bee queens have finally tired of Africanized bees abandoning their children. While it may be stirring a hornets' nest of controversy, honey bee queens have been going out on a limb taking affirmative action against the Africanized Beehadists, to make the Africanized bees, not endangered, but extinct.

“All we found was one dead wasp and lots of parts...Apparently they ate each other.”

I trapped a nest of wasps in a bird feeder a few years back in a particularly hot and dry summer. They lived for about two weeks, feeding first on their larva and then each other. It was interesting to observe

So...that kinda makes me your overlord.

Our Son-in-Law had a bee hive removed from a tree in his yard just last evening. They called a bee remover and it was interesting to watch the process. We did not want the bees destroyed and they were not.
