I’m using Waterfox 64 18.0.1
18.0.1 is available.
I’m using nightly 26.0a1 ,adobe flash BOOM ,so no youtube , just started with today’s updates
What does this version break?
Does it actually work with Adobe Flash now or do we have to wait for a Flash update?
Those 2 have been fighting each other since around FF version 12.
How many extensions/add-ons no longer work now?
Firefox has become exasperating with the rapid release insanity. That may be fun for programming nerds, but it is a massive hassle for anyone trying to use FF productively.
I don’t know—unless you have a machine with a really fast CPU and/or a lot of memory (e.g., 6 GB of RAM or more), I’d rather run the current version of Google Chrome. Not only is Chrome more HTML 5.0 compliant, but each tab runs in its own process, so if there is any browser crash all you need is shut down the tab to restore normal operation.
Now, when Waterfox has its next update, I will grab it.
That must be why task manager shows multiple examples of chrome.exe under processes. I wondered about that.
I stopped using Firefox and Chrome last fall when I started getting popup videos. I could not figure out what was happening. Went back to IE.
Which extensions have been breaking for you?
I use several and haven't had any trouble with them in quite a while.
Some versions of FF have trouble with pdf files.
I use keyscrambler. It won’t work with later editions. The new version of keyscrambler scrambled my computer, so I had to revert to an older version.
Several extension developers quit developing their extensions, because they couldn’t keep up with the rapid releases.
My main version of FF is 15. I just quit updating extensions and FF.
And there is the ongoing problems between Adobe Flash and FF since about version FF 12 or so.
Yeah, and they've removed the ability to easily change search engines, too. It now requires a convoluted process to go from one to another:
Search provider changes
Up until Firefox 22 Firefox users were able to select different search engines for the browser's address bar and the search bar. You could set the address bar search to use DuckDuckGo and the search bar Google or Bing for instance.
With Firefox 23 comes a unified search experience that removes this option. There is only one search provider in Firefox which will be used by the address bar and the search bar.
That's a problem if you want to use different providers to be flexible in your searches, and while it is possible to use keywords to run searches on different engines in the address bar, it means that you need to type more for the same effect.
You can revert the change by installing the add-on keyword.URL Hack! which adds the original functionality back to the Firefox web browser.

Apparently there are many who are unhappy with FF's Big Brother attempt at removing choice and functionality.
BTW, what is keyscrambler?
Keyscrambler scrambles things you would type onto a web page screen, such as a Google search item or a web page address.
1. It prevented McAfee scan from starting
2. Pages using JavaScript not longer function
Sadly I cannot live with either of these errors, so I had no choice except to dump Firefox.
