No need for psychedelic substances: The cultural milieu at the week-long annual art festival known as Burning Man is enough to alter your mind.

I spin @ Root Society. There are all walks of life at Burning Man, I have met people from all over the world with the wildest stories to tell. Its always interesting.

My fav thing about BM is the art cars. Where else can you see a giant rubber duck/dance club with laser eyes driving across the desert?! lol

did you know back in the day before it became a huge event that they used to have a live fire drive by shooting range at Burning Man? That isn’t very liberal is it? lol

No trash is left. Burners bring all their own water and food and they pack out all their waste. The “burning” part of the event is trivial as far as air quality impacts are concerned. A tremendous amount of the power needed on site is derived from wind and solar. The rest is batteries that are removed.

I know some burners and would like to attend myself someday even though certain aspects of the event don’t interest me. You create your own experience there.

If art is your thing, that’s what you get, if sex and drugs are your thing, that’s what you get.
