Sorry to be so late to the party. I never thought that I would be this delayed in getting back to the computer today.

It's been raining all day today and lots during the week. Hubby has not been able to work construction, so he's been busy harvesting during the temporary cessations of rain, and produce has been busy producing like there is not tomorrow.

Hope you are all well. Have a great weekend, and God Bless.

I put some calcium on it and a little nitrogen, but they don't look any better. Help please!

Peanuts are about the only thing in the main garden that haven't been harvested. Soon, I put the fall tomato plants in the ground, they look strong and healthy in their pots.

We need rain, and it's been hot. We saw 109F one day this week. Supposed to be a chance of rain over the weekend, and we need it. Badly.

Pretty good year in SE Wisconsin. My Contender green bush beans barely survived getting chewed on by little white flying things. The Roma style flat green beans were not affected at all. All the other veggies are doing well.

Additional photo of Ghost Peppers, shriveling up dark green leaves, other leaves have some yellow spots and some dark purple areas at the point where the pepper stems come off the main stem. This is my third plant and first to produce peppers, 9 of them. Internet searches have not helped much, that is why I added the calcium, but the seems to not be the source of the infection. Something was eating and them, I could not see anything, but sprayed both sides of the leaves with soapy water.

Hi greeneyes! Thanks for posting the thread! We ended up planting all of our herbs and vegetables in containers this year, but it's not such a bad thing. This is one of our most interesting results:

This is a new one for us. :)

It's sitting on our kitchen counter at the moment, but I think my husband may be cooking it tonight.

Starting to pick about a tomato a day. Going to make stuffed jalapenos this weekend. This is definitely the summer of peppers. Weather here in west Michigan has been gorgeous, mid 70’s and a rainy day now and then. I have quite a few maybe a dozen or more tomatillos on my lone plant that I hand pollinated. Big fluffy green sacks hope there is something inside. Feeding a babyu tree sparrow my daughter brought home. We are taking turns. It’s county fair week and w2e do a lot of volunteering. Bird still has some wispy feathers on its head so we named it Don King. really looks like him. I do have pictures will probably wind up posting all my photos on one thread. Taking hubby to PT 3X a week he’s doing pretty good.

Everything is doing well here in Western Washington state - corn and tomatoes ripening and we are buried in green beans.

I am not sure what is wrong not enough info. When I grow peppers in pots, I use the self watering kind, as well as a ceramic gizmo that holds a soda bottle of water that I can add water soluble fertilizer to according the package directions.

I also use a soiless mix so that my tendancy to overwater doesn’t lead to root rot.

Have you tested the ph, and nutrients? Are you watering too much or too little? Are you watering overhead? Have you taken a magnifying glass to look closely at them and the under side of the leaves?

Have you checked the roots of one of the plants to see if there is anything amiss?

Our green beans are just about done for, but it’s time to plant the fall crop.

Conroe has 30% chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday and 40% on Monday.
