Simon Cowell is handing over a £10million pad to Lauren Silverman so she can bring up his baby in Los Angeles.
The X Factor boss has agreed to give his house on the Trousdale estate in Beverly Hills to her once she divorces husband Andrew.
But the deal doesnt mean he will get back with pregnant Lauren as its the same tactic he has used when ditching previous girlfriends.
It is the first clear sign his relationship with Lauren, 36, is over and it is understood he will continue to live in another property nearby, visiting the child when he can.
A US property source, who has dealt with the music mogul, said: Simon has amassed a lot of houses with his fortune and will want to provide for his child.
But he seems to give away a house every time he splits from a girlfriend, so he is getting through them more quickly than he thought.
He has instructed his advisers to let Lauren have the house, which means she can be nearby but crucially not too close so he can get on with his work and usual lifestyle.
It is thought Lauren will live at the property within an exclusive development with her mum Carole Saland, and the child.
It is said to be a 7,265 square-foot home with four bedrooms, ocean views, a digital screening room and a swimming pool.
Neighbours include Ringo Starr and Elton John.

Nobody’s given me at $10 million house to bring up our babies. Unfair!
That’s 10 million BRITISH POUND STERLING, or about 15 Million USD.
Get in the sack with Simon. Get pregnant and win a mansion. That is every slutty gold digger’s dream. You can bet the product of such a conception will be the big loser.
he just skips marriage and divorce and buys his women a house and takes them all along on his vacations- looks like he is collecting a set of skin colors and nationalities
the guy either operates a harem or is a master pimp, either way what a twisted situation to bring up an innocent child
Not sure what "giving" her a house means....
I seriously doubt he is signing over the deed to her...
Same here. But I did give mine a home.
He can’t buy his way out of his sin.
Yeah, I have a house, too ;-). And who wants to clean that place?
RE: I seriously doubt he is signing over the deed to her...
He does have a habit of giving his girlfriends houses after he splits from them.
Not sure if the deeds of the two previous ones are still his...
.... and this lady is butt ugly. If each relationship costs this much, at least make it a hot babe. But here is a thought, get a vasectomy.
at one house per baby.....wow!!!
I could own the whole street! The teens would love to each have their own house ... until it was time to clean, of course.
The house next to us, same model as ours, is vacant. Several children have asked if we can buy it or rent it so they can spread out! The Ukrainian people around the corner actually did buy two (smaller) houses, for the parents, a couple of grandparents, and ten children.
Interesting who will pay property tax, upkeeping...
She will have one helluva tax liability as a gift, if it truly is signed into her name.
I think Sears has a special on eye exams...good eyesight is your friend. :-)
"Better use a rubber, dude!"
Yes, that’s true.
He’s laying (no pun intended) the ground work for a new reality TV show called “The Women Who Slept With Simon.”
The donor pays gift tax not the donee, so any gift tax will be Cowell's responsibility. My guess is that he will structure it in such a way that it will not be deemed a gift for tax purposes.
Why get married and divorce? Save time. Just find a woman you can’t stand and buy her a house.
So, will the divorce settlement from her husband give her the funds to operate the estate? Housekeepers, lawn care, pool boy?
Shouldn’t he wait for the pregnancy test since she IS married and obviously a whore?
Shouldn’t he wait for the *DNA* test since she IS married and obviously a whore?
I am not impressed. We have a 20000 “ house.
