I just got an E-Mail that .22 LR and other types of ammo are available.
Sales are going fast and the Sportsmans Guide site keeps going down.
It might be a trick to take over your computer. Let me try it before you and let you know if it’s safe....

Thank you for your service! Er... wait
Bought some 9mm plinking ammo from Palmetto State a couple weeks ago.
When big sis left, ammo became available. Odd, huh?
Type “ammoseek.com”
Lots of places with better prices than SG.
You using this for a revolver? That’s about what it’s good for. Rifles and semis no.
I just checked Bulk Ammo and they have 1,000 rounds loose of 5.56 Lake City XM855 62gr (green tip) on sale for $545.00. That's major improvement.
Like I said, I just thought you might want to know.
You can go to gunbot.net and find good deals!
No, I actually think the manufacturers have been going all out for the past 8 months and warehousing most of it until they could get good quantities on the shelves. Sure, they’ve put some out along the way, but now they’re really dumping it (in a good way) into the market. I think doing it this way they avoid the guys buying the limited quantities and then re-selling (scalping) it on Gunbroker.
For the first time in a looong time I have seen ads for 10,000 rds of 5.56 for something just under $9k.
9mm are available but still kind of expensive...but the 5.56’s look great.
Does anyone have a 22LR brand suggestion.
I would like to buy 2000-3000 rounds for long term storage.
Subject to the occasional canoe accident of course.
I dont want crap, but I dont need premium match grade either.
thx FL
There has been (relatively) cheap subsonic 22LR around for some time. But I’m not buying a bolt action rifle just for that purpose.
If you’re going to buy a rifle to take advantage of less costly ammo, get a decent AK47 and load up on Golden Tiger for 25¢ a round. Better for zombies.

I got the same e-mail notice and then seen that the .22 LR is $10 a box. Geez. Ordered a good quantity last week from AIM for $5 a box. Got it delivered in 3 days.
Thanks.
The ammo shortage is officially over.
I think most people bought all they need or could afford for right now.
Still quite high indeed.
I don’t need to buy right now, so I’ll wait.
Agreed....
Interesting, the feds are cleaning up on taxes with all of this buying going on.
I am glad I bought plenty at $10 a brick.
Bump for when I flee California and am allowed to have ammo.
Some showed up locally for $25 a brick the other week.
I missed it
A friend got 2000 rds for $100.
nice list
It’ll go back down to $18 / 550 again, I’m sure.
I have been able to pick it up lately at Cabela’s.......things must be loosening up a bit.
Anyone who tried to prevent me from having ammo would die in the process.
Get a used ammo can, you can probably fit 7000 rounds in there.
$479.00 is cheaper though.
Dude!
I just found CCI small and large rifle primers on Natchez. Ordered two boxes of each (one for me, one for a friend).
One of the most beautiful gun stores I've every been in was the Cabela's in Pennsylvania, North of I-81 and West of Highway 322 around Harrisburg.
Yep, I am there at that store too frequently......was there yesterday in fact.
BTW, that Cabela’s is the largest gun store in the world. It is also the largest Cabela’s in terms of both sales and square feet for the Cabela’s chain. I like to think that I do my part to contribute.
I have the Cabela’s Black credit card......you need to spend at least $25,000 per year to get it. It’s my addiction.
Mrs. Chandler suggested that from now on, when I buy ammo to use for an outing at the range, I should buy twice the amount that I am going to use and put the extra aside. In a year's time I should have a lot of ammo in reserve.
I swear that woman is a genius.
Try Cheaper than dirt, they sent me an email saying they had new stocks of ammo in.
If you're spending that kind of money, you'd be interested in a Class III Mini Vulcan Gun, Sounds like a very intelligent woman.
Bookmark. Thanks for posting!
And now that it’s too late to cancel the order with Natchez, I find the prices at Cabela’s to be significantly lower.
$10 for 50 rds... I’ll wait.
Shoot, we sell it in our store for $500 and have two cases in stock right now!
It’s been more available here and there. Leave it alone, and prices will fall more.
$10-25.00 for box of 50 .22 LR? Screw that and CTD!
Thanks for the info, but no sale.
