INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Secretary of State's office announced Tuesday that it has come to a preliminary agreement over a $27 million lawsuit against the state teachers union.
State officials said they've reached an agreement in principle with the Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) and the National Education Association (NEA) for allegedly defrauding Hoosier teachers of more than $27 million.

Fourteen million bucks is a heck of a lot of “allegedly”.
The Indiana State Teachers Association Disability Fund made BIG loans to several Democrats from a scam fund they created and sold to Indiana School Districts. The money paid into the ISTA-controlled trust was intended to be used for health claims, with a promise of a return on reserves.
After the 2004 elections that Democrats were supposed to win easily, they got audited, and couldn’t account for 23 Million Dollars that teachers across the state had paid in.
Kinda interesting that the only State office held by a Democrat is that of State School Superintendent.
A vile, union hack that lied her way into office and has spent the last year pouring over e-mails by the prior administration.
Somehow, the AP then suddenly knows which files to ask for under FOIA and the campaign against Tony Bennett continues to the point he has to quit his new job in Florida.
The Libs are incensed about holding absolutely no power in the state, so they are using the one office they hold to try to destroy Mitch Daniels and any other Republican they can
Bennett went up against ISTA on several occasions, including ISTA money-for-Democrats scams. He is one of those that MUST be destroyed.
For a lot less money, they could just have them (and their lawyers) hit and start hiring from scratch. Thanks digger48.
