I wouldn’t count on it. I’ve seen it said that Michele Bachmann was ineligible due to an honorary Swiss citizenship. I’ve also seen some bizarre formula that says Rick Santorum was ineligible due to his grandfather’s neighbor’s second cousin being Italian.....or something.
Any coniption fits are being done by pie in the sky idealists who have no real clue. Since candidate X does not meet their perfect ideal - they will stay home.
I would support Rand. I like Mike Lee but he’s not polished enough. We need an articulate fighter like Cruz or Paul.

I think back to that VP Debate where Biden just rolled right over Paul Ryan.
Ryan is not a Constitutional Scholar. Cruz would have mopped the floor with Biden. Hell, Biden might have conceded the race that night!

Not that that alone makes him a strict constitutional constructionist, but it certainly makes him a little more trustworthy than the spawn of Marxists and slave traders.
