Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller arrested on outstanding traffic warrant at Centennial Gun Club

Denver Broncos star linebacker Von Miller was arrested Sunday at the Centennial Gun Club on a failure to appear warrant.

Court records show Miller, 24, was arrested for not appearing at his court hearing on charges from last October when he was cited for careless driving, driving without a license and no proof of insurance.

A uniform summons and complaint document says the offense happened on the 12000 block of Easter Ave in Foxfield, about four blocks from Miller's listed home address. The document does not elaborate on the nature of Miller's alleged careless driving.

Court records show Miller was scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 31, the day after the Broncos' final regular season game in Denver. He didn't attend and the arrest warrant was issued Jan. 2.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office told 7NEWS that Miller went into the gun club Sunday and was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. An arrest document shows the CBI notified deputies that Miller was at the store.

There is no word why he was not arrested sooner.

Although he was arrested at a gun club, the arrest document shows he was unarmed when he was taken into custody.

You think he could afford a lawyer to have taken care of this for him.

The law is only for the little people, the serfs, the peasants. I am a Professional Foot Ball Player. I am above the law, it does not apply to me.

Much ado about nothing.

They’d like you to THINK that maybe he was being arrested for something gun related.

It’s not like they had no idea where to find him. How many public appearances has he made since Jan 2?

What makes you think that this arrest is not gun related?

According to the article, “An arrest document shows the CBI notified deputies that Miller was at the store.” The CBI is the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, which performs “InstaCheck” background checks on individuals attempting to purchase a firearm in Colorado.

This guy was arrested only because he tried to buy a gun.

His agent and the Broncos need to appoint someone - now - before these multiple small issues get worse.

Careless driving is a catchall for we need to justify pulling you over. If the dummy would have hired a lawyer for a few bones, it would have been dismissed. The officer showed and he didn’t. Default, guilty.
