The democrats out here aren’t green-they waste every resource, have no respect for anyone else’s property, cut down every tree they see, and violate every other restriction in the county. Happily, there aren’t many and they don’t stay long-they like to live in hives...

The Czech is in the male, sounds wierdly homoerotic.... Not that there's anything wrong with that. Especially for a Judas Priest fan. ;-)

But it was good for your psyche, right?

I only intend on moving about 10 miles away, off grid, and further into the woods, around other kindred souls-basically going Galt. If this all goes to hell, my survival sense tells me it is the best place to be...

I buy those smart cards from our football player neighbors and just hand them over to the spouse since he goes out to lunch every day and is more likely to use them. I always ask where they live, to make sure they are from my neighborhood and HS. I bought cookie dough from a little girl cheerleader who was going door to door with her big brother as the chaperone/enforcer and told him what a good brother he was to help her fundraise. I cannot stand the parents and kids who just beg for money for their teams or trips and I usually have a comment for the parents, like “So you’re teaching them to beg on the corner?” I get a lot of dirty looks.

A framing contractor I work with has a son who needs a few days work before he heads back to college next week-my compadre is bringing him and a friend tomorrow to tackle my garage and workshop, getting the house ready to show-I hope they know how to work hard...

We had all three drive for a full year as student drivers. But, that 1 year of student driving meant that they ALL of the driving every time we got in the car.
Including the cross-country trips, probably had 11,000 - 15,000 miles of training.

Unnngh. Mine can only drive the car, not the van or the truck, so that limits their driving time.
