Thank you!

That song is a bit whiny and vanilla...

I like different music for different moods-I listen to country, too. I like the so-named “hairbands”, grunge, punk and even some girl groups from back when. But my favorite therapy for a bad day or situation is down-and-dirty, headbanging and angry, heavy stuff I can feel when I turn it up-it even keeps me from insulting people who piss me off...

When I’m in a soulful mood, I listen to quieter country or rock...

Me too.

My change of pace is usually rockabilly or punk.

Im a huge Robert Gordon fan.

Cant abide Death Metal, i think it sucks.

So does that, new beprand of lets have every singer sound like. A Frog genre. Like Bruce Gaystein at 900 miles an hour.

What metal do you define as “Death Metal”?

It isn’t as bad as that angst-filled-I-hate-myself stuff I called Seattle whining music to piss off MrT5-he was from Seattle-that was so popular awhile back-and which I still hear on some stations.

See now, I enjoy some of that Seattle sound stuff. Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains. Soundgarden.

Last time I checked Dave Mustaine had hair.

What do you mean I don't support your system? I go to court when I have to.

I do like some of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden’s stuff, not so much Alice in Chains. It is those slow, off-key songs that annoy me-the ones that sound like the singer is howling-even my dog perks her ears and whines at them.

Pearl Jam did a good cover of that old 60’s song, “Last Kiss”, I thought. There also used to be a band called Cake in the late 90’s that did some good stuff-some of it was cover, but their original songs were okay-there was a song about an Italian leather sofa that I liked...

Not howling. More like meowing. I confess that Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) can at times sound like an alley cat.

I can see how that could annoy.

Lol....went to see Soundgarden at a place calle drhe Armory, in NYC. general admission, no seats kind of place.

They open wirh Jesus Christ Pose, three thousand people break into a mosh never been. A mass of moving humanity that large.

The evening ends... With Chris Cornell announcing OJ is in the Van with AL Cowlings on the freeway.

Totally Surreal.

Chris Cornell has one of the best voices I’ve ever heard on a dude.

Ahh the night of the White Bronco. I remember it well. It was right after high school and it was Julie’s graduation party. Good times.

Try this. Alice in Chains acoustic with Layne doing some low bass notes, some meowing and then Chris Cornell comes in at the end.
