...That, "CaddyShack", and "Animal House" have got to be the FUNNIEST movies EVER!
YES! Best movie EVAR!
Animal House was good. But my list would include Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstien, and Airplane. Plus The Naked Gun had moments.
Bookmarking. Mel was genius. Young Frankenstein, one of my favorites.

On TCM today there was one called Rationing. It was a nice surprise. It has Ma Kettle in it.

Too bad TCM won’t get and give plenty of alert to “Blazing Saddles”.
Most of the stations that play it bleep out all the ‘bad’ (well, they say bad) stuff.
I found it on IFC (Ch 133 on Dish)and they played it UNCUT, but it had commercials.
They ran it about 8 times in a weeks period..
Just watched it this afternoon and they even managed to take a shot at the “Irish” when the RR workers demanded a home in the town and the Johnsons said the Blacks were Ok but only the Blacks...they protested and the Johnsons said “Ok everyone BUT the Irish”....think they finally gave in BUT they managed to hit every known ethnic and racial slur for THAT time frame....including ‘farting’ and ‘faggots’.
You are absolutely 66% right! My personal top 3 is Used Cars, Animal House, and Blazing Saddles. But, we make allowances for such differences ;-)
Used Cars is still funny start-to-end, and some parts of it have worked it’s way into my lexicon. “Fifty bucks never killed anybody”....
And you cannot top taking a firehose to nuns when it comes to humor!
