“Art” today can be a booger with a hair in it!
Art is anything that will create a firestorm and some despartely needed attemtion for some unknown looser artist
I have seen less artistic and stimulating works at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. (Art??)
I am opening a new gallery tomorrow named the "The Bugger and a Hair"...are you saying we will be a big success?
If you make it and someone wants to buy it...you are an artiste!
But keep in mind that Vincent Van Gogh, clearly a GREAT artist, never made more than one dime on his art during his lifetime.
The reason art is art is because it defies definition. Adolf Hitler was an excellent painter...but, alas, he couldn't sell his stuff or convince anyone to support him as an artist.
