The collapse of Detroit was instigated by Mayor Coleman Young when over a twenty year period, he systematically deprived white people from opening up businesses within the city limits of Detroit.
No new businesses meant the tax base moved to the suburbs.
Each business provided 5 to 50 jobs.
The blacks got just what they wanted - a black Detroit.

lets face facts....
they can't possibly pick up 50,000 stray dogs, if that is true....
they can't possibly adopt out that many dogs...
they will have to put most of them down....

The collapse of Detroit was instigated by Mayor Coleman Young when over a twenty year period, he systematically deprived white people from opening up businesses within the city limits of Detroit. In the early 1980's, on Mayor Young's watch, Detroit made a deal with a car company to build a plant in Poletown, a Polish-American neighborhood and one of the remaining white communities in Detroit. Poletown was essentially destroyed when the city used eminent domain to tear down more than a thousand homes as well as dozens of businesses and several churches to make room for the plant.
