Recently I was reading the Freepathon thread. One person stated that she does not donate, but she urged everyone else to do it because she enjoys the site.

Many say “I can’t afford it.” Well have a garage/yard sale twice a year and raise 60$’ each time and pay for their use of Free Republic by having a yard sale twice a year.
How many of us have too many nice items in our home we don’t need. Put them in a consignment store and use that money from their sale, for a donation to Free Republic.
Donate some good things to Salvation Army and use that tax deduction to pay for using Free Republic.
If you are a Starbuck’s addict, stop going once a week and use the saved money for a Free Republic donation. Better yet buy your coffee at a Super Market on sale and don’t go liberal Starbucks and support their gay liberal agendas.
There are hundreds of ways to save a few bucks each week/month to pay for one’s fair share to use Free Republic.
Anyone who can’t figure out how to save $5 per month, probably isn’t a conservative and needs Obozo’s support to live in this world. They should be going to DU for their entertainment and postings.
