Dramatic video footage has emerged showing a group of Mexican sailors battling against Polish football hooligans on a beach in the north of Poland.

Supporters of the Ruch Chorzow team, who were in the town of Gdynia for a cup match, clashed with 56 Mexican navy cadets from the Cuauhtemoc training ship who were taking a break from their drills.

Chairs were hurled, parasols toppled and beach towels flung to the side as dozens of men attacked each other. A crowd of onlookers stood in their swimwear watching, until the mass of brawling men came closer to their vantage point.

This might be of interest to you. It has some introductory comments — and later shows the Polish cops giving instructions to the Mexicans in English.

My favorite part of the introduction is where it says “English is the universal language. It important to speak and understand it.”

Note at the end where the captioantor says Mexican mariners as heroes.

1920. Against the Soviet Union, in fact, a much larger foe.

I was in Aruba in 1990 when Royal Navy came ashore and their officers allow them to act like the hooligans they are....yobs....whatever

I was with a very beautiful girl I knew from Maracaibo whose husband had been murdered recently and had flown over....they were incredibly coarse and crude to her and threatened me of course in strength of numbers

I literally had to get her out of there ...a music venue...thru a gauntlet worthy of Tahrir square

And eventually they rioted at Carlos and Charlie’s in Orangestaad and the local constabulary grossly outmatched had to activate a battalion of Dutch special forces from their training camp on island

Don’t laugh....long haired or whatever

They were indeed effective
I like to assure myself our officers would never low enlisted men to run wild like that

Am I wrong?

I think technically that Dutch battalion are Korps Marines but their scope of duty is more spec ops than infantry

Trying to be accurate

Anyhow.... they brought a few hundred NormanoSaxon wildings to heel

Yeah, thanks. First of all, the Soviet Union didn’t actually exist until 1922, so the so-called Polish-Soviet Union Was is a bit of a misnomer. That said, a back and forth war that essentially ended in a draw - regardless of who sues for peace - is like kissing your sister. I would also point out that Russia had just been heavily involved in WWI (Poland did not exist as an independent state at the time) and was basically in the midst of a series of revolutions and their own civil war, so to declare the Poles “winners” kind of ignores the fact that the Russians were fighting with both hands tied behind their backs.

“This has the potential to be the greatest military Victory in Mexican history.”

Well, they did kick the French’s asses at Puebla, though to be fair the Mexicans simply sent a boy scout troop to take care of the nuisance.

Mexico has a navy? Who knew?

The Mexican navy has aluminum rowboats and coleman canoes. The Mexican drug cartels have aircraft carriers and destroyers at their disposal.
