A student at Texas Tech University appears to be the first American to have his driver’s license photo taken — and to successfully obtain a driver’s license — while wearing a pasta strainer on his head.
The student, Eddie Castillo, pulled off the stunt by claiming to practice Pastafarianism and belong to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, reports KLBK.
The Texas Tech student added that he was surprised that he succeeded in Lubbock because of its reputation as a bastion for conservatism.

No doubt. It is easier to ridicule a religion that advocates loving your enemy than one that advocates killing everyone that disagrees with theirs!
This is simply ONE of over 2000 religions worldwide that America will have to honor with special facilities, holidays and policies/procedures to include new government laws to protect their integrity and rights.

They should have made wearing a pasta strainer a necessary condition of holding the license, on the same level as corrective lenses. Stupid is as stupid does.
