U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren has been on the warpath against banks since going to Washington, but when it comes to launching a war against Syria, she and other liberal Massachusetts Democrats suddenly dont have much to say.
Warren, known for her outspoken stances, has turned timid on one of the most important issues a U.S. senator will ever face whether to put American troops in another military conflict.
Asked to say whether she approves launching a strike against Syria, Warrens press office which churns out releases regularly on financial industry abuses did not get back to the Herald.
This is curious because Warren and other Massachusetts Democrats had been harshly critical of the Bush administrations handling of the war in Iraq. But now its different because Barack Obama is president and her former Senate colleague, John Kerry, is secretary of state.
We dont take it personally, though. She showed similar
reluctance a few months ago to comment on Obamas decision to arm rebels against Syrian President Bashar Assad after he
was accused of using chemical weapons.

“on the warpath...” Now that is quality journalism. :-)
Perhaps she is sending smoke signals?
Paging Cindy Sheehan. Cindy Sheehan
Paging Cindy....ahh, the heck with it.
Curious? Sheeeeeyit. That's SOP for RATS. They speakum with forked tongue.
We are so proud of our congressional delegation from MA.
And the contributions we have made to our life in the US are simply remarkable.
I hate them all.
the ‘Rats use “1984” for a manual.
War has now become peace.
We have always been at war with Syria.
What kind of democrat wants to go against “da foist black pwesident”?
Wonder of wonders....the Fat One from Flint has finally updated his website, and he IS going after Obama on this full-bore.
At least he’s a consistent lunatic.
Why would she say anything? They haven’t even made a decision on the matter yet. Obama cannot make a decision to save his life. By the time, Obama finally makes his mind up, every Syrian could be dead and buried.
