If Obama Can Delay Parts Of Obamacare Then Repubs Can Delay The Individual Mandate Through Defunding

If the Obama administration can delay parts of Obamacare, then Republicans (and some red state Dems) can institute fairness and vote to delay another part of Obamacare (the individual mandate) by funding the rest of government - just not the individual mandate - and those parts of O-care that Obama says needs to be delayed. One good turn deserves another?

OTOH, liberals are retorting that Obamacare is the law of the land.

If that is so, then is Obama defying the law by refusing to implement parts of Obamacare?

In the end, the gov't will be funded, a default will be averted, and both sides can delay parts of Obamacare...

Bipartisanship at its finest.

Message methods, Republicans - it's all in the messaging...

If the GOP leadership weren’t acting like court eunuchs they would be challenging Obama’s delay of parts of Obamacare as illegal and unconstitutional. Force Obama into an all or nothing position on Obamacare and watch him and the Democrats cave as they know putting the whole thing up before the 2014 election will cost them control of the Senate and end any chance of taking back he House.

Yep, force his hand. All OR Nothing. Now OR Never. And no more exemptions for Congress or Unions or any other special group.

It’s a rare creature that used to inhabit Washington DC. There were a few back in the 70s. I think the last one was named Ronald Reagan.

THAT has been what should have been the fallback position all along. Obama delayed it for his cronies. The GOP needs to defund it, but if Obama wants the government to shut down for an extended period if Obamacare is not in the budget, that's on him. If the GOP wants to cave, their compromise is to delay funding until after 2014, just as Obama did for his cronies. Beat him over the head with his own delay.

The jellyfish leading the Republicans can't even do that, I fear.
