As the Walker Art Center's Internet Cat Video Film Festival returns for the second year and makes a jump to the Grandstand at the Minnesota State Fair on Wednesday night, it's clear the Internet cat video phenom can no longer be denied. People steal frequent and furtive peeks at feline films during the workday. Some spend their nights immersed in cat capers on YouTube. But what would happen if one person attempted to spend an entire eight-hour workday watching cat videos?

It would leave me murderous. LOLcats and all their variations just irritate me.

In the end, I was numb. Yes, catatonic. I needed to sit some place quiet that night with a nice book, a nice glass of wine and a nice cat that I could pet instead of just watch. Eight hours of watching cat videos is ridiculous. Your brain needs to relax and decompress. What you really need are a few catnaps

I got an HD TV (and a bluray player) so that I could watch National Georgraphic videos of the Serengeti.I can watch them for hours.House cats? No thanks! Not until they start taking down wildebeest at least.

This should be nipped in the bud.

I love that video, what a bunch of morons. It’s a ten pound cat. Just grab it and immobilize its front legs and stick your finger in its mouth between its incisors and it can’t bite you. These are professionals?
Something tells me Pinky didn’t get adopted or lived through the day the bunch of cowards.

Thank you for posting, mrs muslim-fish! I can certainly see why your valiant contribution to wasting bandwidth would be appreciated by anyone that comes across it.
May you have an interesting week, and to soothe that disconcerting irritation you seem so intent upon grousing about, perhaps you would be happier simply confining yourself to watching some bowling on the telly, or perhaps mushroom-farming, and simply post an email where anyone that wishes to find out more about whatever buggering nonsense is currently prevalent can message you to your heart's content.
I know I will attempt to do so as soon as I feel the need, rest assured!
Have an Interestingly GREAT day, and may every Klingon you meet feel an overriding need to fart in your airlock to improve the percentage of hydrogen sulfides in your immediate vicinity! *=)
