Penn has had unisex bathrooms/showers in the dorms for decades.

I wonder how much rapes might increase with the new policy?

(What Islam and secularism have in common is that they are both death cults)
We see a lot of people on our campus who may be trans- or gender non-conforming who do have issues with the washrooms because they are forced to act on this [sexual] binary
Really? You see a lot of these mentally ill people on your campus? What does that say about your campus?

I guess they’re flushing out the last hidey holes of discrimination up there. Sorry!

a "lot of people"????....doubt that highly...
in the meantime, women still will wait in long lines to use the br, but boy are we going to take care of those transgenders....

many gas stations and restaurants around here have a single bathroom with both a male and female symbol on the door.
Have yet to see one with a question mark on it though

Can I ask a stupid question?
How many trans-whatever students are there in the first place? We have a situation in which we have to bend over backwards to accomodate what is a tiny number of people.
Why do we have to accomodate these people? Expecting them to adhere to the social norms of our “binary” sex identity world is a hardship? Really???
What about when these people go off campus, and find that the rest of the world is not as liberal as this college?
“Use a stall and get over yourself” would seem to be an appropriate response...

Do Unitarian churches have unisex bathrooms?

Just male, female, and wheelchair signs? Doesn't sound very diverse to me. What about intersexuals, bisexuals, shemales, bearded ladies, lesbians of colour, the two-spirited, or furries? How about a sign for someone who uses forearm crutches, carries a white cane, or wears a bicycle helmet because she's mentally challenged, or some other indication that anyone is still welcome to use the restroom, even if their particular disability doesn't require them to use a wheelchair?
Way to exclude nearly everyone, bigots. /s
Designate a restroom as the Bradley Manning Powder Room and be done with it, make sure there’s a bidet in it!

Why bother with restrooms at all?
Simply take a dump wherever you are and be done with it.
That would be the least discriminatory way of solving the problem.

This is the solution: Rest rooms labeled Men, Women and Other.
Let the pervs have their own.

(Who knew that one day professional wrestling would be less fake than professional journalism?)
The solution is simple. We need “XX” restrooms for those chromosomes, and “XY” for those with any genetic combination that includes a Y. That way we are not questioning the gender they pretend to identify with, but we are insisting that they match their own plumbing to the plumbing in use, at least for those who have not been surgically mutilated.
