Weather isn’t getting more severe? That’s HORRIBLE news! It means global cooling is worse than predicted.

Algore will, of course claim that the dearth of activity is an ominous sign of Global Warming Climate Change whichmakes it all the more necessary for the World Government to take over everything and reduce the world population right now to 500 million or so.

You could be on to something. The trend for the last 10+ years has been cooling. We need more SUV's and more carbon to reverse the cooling.

None of you are obviously getting the message. A lack of hurricanes is a direct result of “Climate Change” and if you dare disagree or even question the notion in the least bit, you’re an anti-science Denier and don’t even deserve to have an opinion.

I am on Florida’s northern Gulf coast. We have not had a discernible summer this year except for a total of 3 or 4 days- marginally. We have had a rainy season like this area has not had since that was the norm back in the 50s and 60s.
Some nights I have wished I had a long sleeve shirt at work (I am a night security guard at a shipyard).

Those guys hype a barely there Low into a monster storm with minute by minute updates. A few years ago the local TV weather reporters were doing their obligatory outside reporting with the wind blowing the reporterette’s hair all out and her coat flapping about her. My daughter who worked at the station said they had to use their big body shop fan for the effects and a water sprayer. I know there was very little wind and the rain was only a sprinkle. I was at work in that maelstrom and got my sleeves damp.

Wasn’t Hurricane Katrina Bush’s fault? According to the liberals, Bush and FEMA mismanaged evacuating and recovery efforts. Did the liberals lie???

Im on Floridas east coast. Weve had afternoon thunderstorms all summer. In the years we have afternoon storms we dont get hurricanes. In 04 and 05 we didnt have the afternoon storms. This sounds very reasonable. Is there any long term data showing this relationship?

Where are all those "scientists" who were predicting a "super active" hurricane season? Where are they? Why are their names not blasted in the headlines, while they are being made to be the complete laughingstocks they rightfully should be.
You won't hear a peep about it in the press. There will be no naming of names as they solomnly make exactly the same pronouncements next year, and are most likely wrong yet again. They'll keep predicting gloom and doom, and eventually, because climate is what it is, there will be an active year, and they'll be led forth in the media blaring their "I told you so's!" to the world. The media will nod their heads as the "scientists" proclaim the end of everything if we don't adhere to their religion of Gaia worship.
It's all as predictable as the rising of the morning sun.

2005, Wilma blew a 15 y/o black olive tree down onto my garage. Was a bad storm.
Nasa had a study that says the wetter the May, the less chance for a hurricane. We’ve had rain almost every day since then.
It is so soggy, my lawn mower almost can’t go through the grass. Just got a new Craftsmen 7.5HP too. Sweet mower.
I know, I should get a life.
