Samsung Begins Mass Production of DDR4 Memory
Samsung is taking the cue from Field of Dreams: If you build it, they will come. Samsung is beginning to ramp up its production of DDR4 for enterprise servers without clear cut demand for the DDR4 standard.
A successor to the DDR3 (Double Data Rate 3), DDR4 memories are expected to offer higher performance, reliability and lower power consumption than its predecessor.

One good thing about DDR4 is you don't have to match them like you do with DDR3. No more dual kits, tri kits, quad kits. The price will probably be a killer though.

When it comes to mainstream adoption of DDR4, the biggest benefit is likely going to be with integrated graphics. Bumping up the bandwidth for graphics processing will help continue to blur the lines between budget discrete cards and simply sticking with sharing the system memory.

What is “integrated graphics”? The graphics being processed on the MOBO instead of a graphics card?
I might start doing facebook if the lags through NSA were short enough.
Graphic circuitry on the same silicon as the CPU.
On the CPU? Wow!
Same as... AMD APU
