“It could have been worse - glad he didn’t have a box of condoms laying around.”

A condom with a hole in it, just like he started out.

Sorry.

Who gets a loved one’s cremation urn and opens it?

I don't know. But I had an LOL moment.

I have my mothers remains. If I were to open it and find she had been placed in a Wal-Mart bag....I can't help but think she'd laugh right along with me! She loved Wal-Mart!

Don't get me wrong. I loved my mom. But those ashes are not my mom!

Was the Wal-Mart smiley face turned in or out?

I’m sure that some places are reputable, but I have heard of others that have treated their work with no respect or care for the deceased. It’s horrible.

Lots of people want their ashes spread on ground they loved while they were alive. My cousin wants his ashes placed in a bottle of bubble bath and sent to Sandra Bullock's house... ;-)

What's with a plastic bag? Didn't the undertaker know there's a danger that the son could be asphyxiated?

Oh, wait......

“I find her story suspect.”

Me too. My Dad’s ashes were in a special paper and plastic container made especially for the mortuary. He insisted we go as cheaply as possible. (Really. He didn’t want us wasting a cent.) If that was as cheap as they could go, it was still very professional and nicely done.

Why would anyone want to open the urn?

Well, at least she didn’t find them in a Walmart bag IN a Walmart store, which was the first vision that flashed through my brain when I first read the headline!

Not unless you’re going to scatter the ashes.

Walmart, Target, Macy’s? I can even see Ziploc and Glad joining in.

Everyone is gonna want a piece of this marketing fight to be the bag of choice to carry the dead.

For what it costs to cremate a body you would think they could at least use Ziplock.

She really just upset she lost her boy. Anything is a target right now.

Yes a bag from Victoria’s secret would have had a lot more class.

Maybe one day Walmart will offer Crematorium services.

Over in the back where they keep the tires, and fill the propane bottles.
