Will do. I'm a Chuck Wagon kind of cook. The less work, the better. {^) But I don't use crock pots, and I'm not into Mexican food ... it never took, I guess, because I sure as heck grew up eating it. The sugar in your recipe -- among the few Mexican food recipes I
loved was my Granny's tamale stew, pretty much a native California-Mexican recipe. It used raisins -- instead of sugar. But sweet takes a lot of tart out of the chili, which is nice.
I might substitute raisins for sugar, and might try a different meat, but maybe the lightness of the turkey makes good flavor for the beer. Who knows! Have you tried it with other meats? Or only turkey because it's cheap? Hey, I'm a Scot. I can respect that. ;^)
