I worked part-time at a very prominent pet cemetary during two summers in High School. Mixing cement, setting headstone and cutting grass. Hot, heavy work kept you in shape for the coming athletic seasons.

There was one curious gentleman who spoke to his departed on a daily basis, and brought his “friend” in a brass urn so they could all be together. Could not cut the grass near that plot. He would do it with hand trimmers.
