A spooky clown, dressed in white face paint with huge drawn-on eyebrows, a curly red wig and a ruffled collar -- and looking exactly like Pennywise clown from the Stephen King-inspired 1990 horror film, "IT" -- has appeared in several locations throughout Northampton, England since Friday, Sept. 13. The city, some 67 miles outside of London, is an industrial town known historically for its shoemakers and churches.

Isn't “creepy clown” repetitive?

He’d better not be wearing an Obama mask, or he’s going to be in trouble.

I started watching “Under the Dome.” Then I found out it was based on something written by Stephen King, and I quit watching it.

Throughout the 1980s, the small village of Cabot Cove, Maine had the highest per capita murder rate of all US ciites.

Don't they get some sort of credit for the people who rose from the dead as zombies and vampires?

Please clarify, that is a vague reference for me to consider.

I was evoking the “Murder, She Wrote” TV series.

"I started watching “Under the Dome.” Then I found out it was based on something written by Stephen King, and I quit watching it"

You aren't missing anything. "Under The Dome" is the absolute worst show I have ever seen in my life...it's comically bad. We watch so we can mock it and laugh at it in a "Mystery Science Theater 3000" sort of mode. Honestly, it's as though children wrote it.

I was going to watch it only because Hank Schrader/Dean Norris is in it, but he has a stupid role. The whole thing is stupid. I hope Dean finds something better.

Yeah, Dean Norris is the only halfway bright spot in the whole thing. I guess he needed a paycheck.
