So far confirmed are less than 5 dead.
"REVEALED" is a need for blog hits based upon bullshit.
Decorated? LOL.
He didn’t serve in any combat role.
Thailand has a large muslim population and all the atrocities that come with it.
as stated by a roommate.....I tend to believe an RIP connection is most likely
Yea I had to laugh at that one.
precisely
NAVAIR types in the E-1 thru E-3 range are Airmen.
I'm sure someone with some real expertise will chime in...
In the Navy you are either a Seaman, Fireman, Airman, Constructionman, and Hospitalman as an E-1 through E-3. There's a little more to it but that's the basics.
I always associate Great Lakes with USN training.
Aren’t they all Seaman Recruits? or have they started traig Air Force enlistees at Great Lakes?
Lee Harvey Oswald was a Marine. There are millions of men and women who served in the military. Not all of them are good people. Most are though.
You are behind on the news, there are in deed 12 dead people from his murderous rampage.
“Oh you mean like Nidal Hassan?”
Exactly.
A 3rd Class Petty Officer is basically the START of your career, once you have your rate. (Specific job)
You usually get to be a third class once you finish C school or you strike on the job.
He was a low level guy.... E-4
It was up on Drudge that 12 was dead!!!
Wasn’t there some serial killer who was a military reservist helicopter pilot? I forgot his name. It’s not the Green River Killer, but if I remember right, it was up in the NW.
Not everyone who’s served is a saint, like you said.
Not if they came in with a rate.
Yes , I wouldn’t consider “I was there “ Awards as decorations worth mentioning.
I was listening to a reporter speak of the Battleship moored at the Navy Yard. We haven’t had battleships since they retires the New Jersey and the water in the Potomac isn’t deep enough to float one past the Morgantown Bridge.
Of course it a Destroyer and not a large one at that.
Conversely, he was interested in Islam. He was doing it right.
Back when I was in the Army the National Defense Service Medal (NSDM) was called the ‘I’ve been to basic medal.’ That was because it was awarded for serving 60 days on active military service, as Basic training was 8 weeks long (not counting the 1st week in reception station getting physical, shots, uniforms, etc), one qualified for receiving it upon graduation.
The rules are the same for the NDSM today and are also similar for the GWOT medal. Essentially, join the military after 9-11-2001, serve for 60-365 days and you get the medals. There is no performance standard, just ‘enlist.’
