Dead men tell no tales.
CCW is in some of the stories, think so... so many different ones today, may have been the Daily Mail but I don’t know if his permit was good for DC.
I think DIFI herself must post over there on occasion....
Did a web search on Alexis and CCW, of all folks, daily kos is talking about it. Of course, I won’t link to them and as people have pointed out, it may not have been valid in the Nation’s Capital.
Alexis still would have had to have gone through the metal detector, clearance or not, so it seems.
The local Austin, TX news just had an interview with his brother in law who claimed he felt he was being discriminated against. The wife of Nutpis-whatever said he wasn't getting enough from his military benefits to pay his bills. Their website isn't loading but maybe it will later - www.keyetv.com
I have permits from three states and did the research to see where the reciprocity was within the states. Washington DC doesn't have reciprocity with any state that I can find. I'm good in about 40 states but not in DC.
So its bla bla bla.........everybody hates me no body likes me.....so I will kill a bunch of people.
Good Lord.........we are screwed
I wonder how he afforded it. It seems so odd, but people who do this type of thing generally seem odd to me.
It looks as though he had a concealed shotgun, killed the guard at the metal detector, and then took the guard’s AR-15 and 9mm pistol.
Following Joe Biden's gun control program, I see.
The Old Media is being strangely silent as of this morning. Usually by this time they’d be speculating, making stuff up, and desperately trying to tie the incident to the gun control debate. Apparently they haven’t gotten their talking points from the White House yet.
Mere arrests will not necessarily preclude a clearance. There is also the affirmative action angle.
We had a fellow where I worked (he almost certainly had a secret clearance) who did some things that would not have been tolerated (nothing illegal) but he was always willing and eager to put the race card.
He might have lived in Virginia.
The District of Columbia is the only jurisdiction left in the nation that has a blanket prohibition on the carry of guns outside of the home:

He stayed with family of his Thai roommate
His physiological problems were likely overlooked to meet a racial quota.
