Skip to comments.Starbucks is caving! No more guns allowed per Corporate policy

“Gay rights” are a “right” yet bearing arms, which is enumerated in the Constitution, is not a right to these loons. Screw them! I am finished with Starbucks for good.
A woman needs to call Starbucks HQ and ask if they are going to stop her, a soccer mom who is being stalked by an ex, from carrying a gun into the store. Would love to hear how they answer that.
I have never given a nickel to those NW commies.
Really, I gave up on Starbucks some time ago already.
fair enough... no peet’s, now no starbucks. more $ left over to spend elsewhere and/or donate to pro-gun groups.
How does a prissy, overpriced, little one shingle jo maker business policy trump the 2nd Amendment, and affect my gun carry rights.
Who goes to Starbucks anyway. MacDonalds has much better coffee.
Starbucks = no go zone
Are they going to put up no gun signs, or is this just a request for people to stop the open carry demonstrations?
No more free compost coffee grinds for me.
I have NEVER spent a dime in a SB and now I will actively encourage others to stay away.
I beat you to that many years ago.
Not inclined to pay $3.50 for a cup of asphalt remover
I never did like their coffee anyway.
And everything else is priced sky-high anyway.
And now it's "gun-free" which means people can be gunned down without danger to the Killer.
So some nut can come in and wipe out everyone since nobody would be armed. Makes sense.
I don’t do Starbucks, tastes like dirt.
If you are carrying concealed and doing it correctly, then this policy shouldn’t be a problem.
If you’re printing, then you’re not doing it right.
So what’s the problem?
Honestly, if you carry, carry concealed. Concealed means concealed. If you're doing it right, nobody will know you're carrying concealed, least of all some unshaven barista named 'Topher' who's got sleeve tattoos and shower curtain rings in his ears.
Open carry is for goof-ass twits with something to prove. If your state doesn't allow concealed carry but allows open carry, that's not Starbuck's fault. Change your state laws or make coffee at home. Starbuck's is private property. Respect their wishes and breeze right past their 'NO WEAPONS ALLOWED' sign while carrying concealed. If they spot you carrying and ask you to leave, you need to leave.
There, problem solved.
Obviously liberals yelled and screamed at corporate and conservatives did not offer support. That is my guess anyway.
they’re not taking sides, but no guns. lol, we are so George orwell in this country.
Gun-free zones are actually Free-Kill zones.
Is this really a surprise? I never bought it and never went or will go there.
Can they even legally do this? What if the store is leased on government property? What if the land owner tells SB to go F themselves?
scalding hot coffee is a weapon. if one has intent to use it that way.
Dunkin Donuts is better anyway.
I vowed to never buy anything from Starbucks, just after the Twin Towers fell, they “sold” tiny bottles of water to the dust covered overheated firefighters.
You expected them not to cave?
I always find it amazing how 1 person can stop a whole school from something but a majority of people are powerless
from schools to corporate policies
"Man, I could really go for a Starbucks, y'know?"
Another target rich environment.
You don’t understand. Now that Starbucks is a gun free zone, no deranged killer would ever violate their policy. Everybody’s safe at Starbucks!
They said serve people with guns, they describe it as a expressing a preference without any enforcement.
businesses can do whatever they want.....so can we....I don’t drink coffee but I do buy frappachinos for my dtr....no more....McDonalds is reasonable, and if nothing else, my dtr will make her own..
All Starbucks stores are now way too dangerous to do business in as they have now notified the criminal underworld that their customers and employees are completely defenseless.
Starbucks apparently wants their customers to be vulnerable to another sicko looking for easy pickings.
“I went to Starbucks for a shot of cappuccino, and instead I just got shot.”
They should have written the Notice in Cursive.
That way the Bad Guys (and Gals) wouldn’t know there was a Policy change.
So, I guess the Police can’t stop there for their Coffee Break, right?
But .... but.... do they have the “Gun Free Zone” sign on their door. With out that everyone is doomed!!!!!
Concealed means concealed. Unless they put metal detectors and armed guards at their stores I will continue to carry...and probably not do business there anyways.
All the CHPs are going to have to coffee elsewhere!
You can't be neutral. "None of the above" was not one of the offered answers.
You either stand with the Constitutional Right of citizens to keep and bear arms, or you don't.
There are no half measures.
You're with us or agin' us, and you have come down on the wrong side by trying to keep our business while telling us to not bring our arms inside.
Now, I ask you, where is that firearm more secure? In its holster, on my person, or in a vehicle outside, where the thug culture could break in and then use it to shoot up your store?
I, for one, will never put you in a position to worry about that question on my account. I'll just take my business (and my personal defense weapon) elsewhere.
Stupid is as stupid does: you tried to sit on the fence and instead impaled yourselves on the post.
Read the sheet carefully while they say they would prefer no guns they don’t disallow - this way they can tell the libbers they changed without really changing.,
Did you miss the part where it says “weapons are not welcome in their store”?
I added this place to my list of never to shop at again at the first taste of overpriced burned coffee from “barrista Prima Donnas”. I always knew where my McDonald’s coffee came from, a family company called Gavina, and found it to be ten times better than Starburnts. Thank God I am not a coffee snob.
Nope just saw the part that they weren’t to ask them to leave...
And by the way I don’t frequent the place because their coffee sucks - but sometimes I go for the cakes and such...
When the bad guys see you're carrying, they'll just wait until your back is turned, then hit you over the head with a chair and take your gun.
Concealed is always better.
