CEDAR PARK, Texas, Sept. 23, 2013 -- /PRNewswire/ -- EEStor, Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of their developed product samples to a private investor group. This group has followed EEStor's progress with day-to-day direct communications and invested in the technology development. As such they are interested to confirm certain performance statistics gleaned from EEStor, Inc. particularly as it relates to energy storage. EEStor is particularly pleased with this sale. It is now the second sale of samples, the first being to a potential customer with particularly positive results as it relates to capacitors and energy storage. Furthermore, EEStor is now in discussions with multiple new potential customers for initial product level demonstrations.

For those who didn't follow it, basically they claim to have discovered a new way to make super capacitors with energy storage magnitudes of order greater than current super caps. Most of the experts say it is impossible and they missed multiple deadlines in demonstrating a working capacitor.
The promise is electrical storage greater than lithium batteries with storage and discharge rates only limited by the resistance of the connectors.
Thanks for posting. I’ve been following this for > 5 years (and heavily invested).
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. This has the quack of an investment scam.
This is one of THE WORST press releases I have ever read from a company. Good old Dick Weir needs to hire someone who can make something readable out of his nonsense.
We got vaporware shipping in the thousands /s
Except that is not really what this press release says.
Me too, I'd be delighted to see some progress. Most of these things are scams or run by idiots. A working sample is objectively testable.
The bigger news is the 3rd party testing by an established testing house that should be released within approximately 2-4 weeks. We shall see.
I’m also very interested but no money involved.
I’ve had them tagged for notification when they pop up in the news. It’s been years since anything has popped up. Other than the Canadian (former) car manufacturer which is still investing money in eestor that is.
When I go down to Lowes and the EEStor or the infamous E-Cat commercial products on the shelf competitively priced I will Predator.
... retire my Predator.
I think they promised a working prototype coming Dec 2008 or something like that the last time I heard anything from the company itself.
I would love to see something like this work, I could finally have my man portable rail gun.
Your Predator? I guess I’ll need to google that.
