But who in their right mind would pay $2000 for a single, 12.7 oz. bottle of beer? Quite a lot of people, it turns out, judging by the frenzy unleashed Wednesday over the release of Dave, an English Barley wine from Hair of the Dog Brewing in Portland, Oregon that sold out less than five hours after it went on sale. Admittedly, it was just a tiny batch of 12 bottles, but still.
Whats so special about Dave? First brewed in 1994 thats right, its 19 years old! it achieves the absurdly-high alcohol level through a freezing process that evaporates water from the brewerys flagship, 10% ABV Adam ale. We called it "Jail-Bait Ale."
Possibly....but I can’t wait until 2032.
No thanks. I’m enjoying a $7.99/six pack bottles of New Glarus Spotted Cow. Imported from Wisconsin.
I suspect they bought it for the snob appeal rather then the taste.

Coming soon - Black IPA. Wow. Racist beer.
Now that was funny! I have had the racist beer, it is quite good. These micro brews are great. My favorite, Imperial Red, comes out every June. The list changes all the time.
Foster’s. 25.4oz cans. Lovingly brewed by union workers in the USA. If it starts getting warm, you are not drinking quickly enough.
This might provide some "balance."
Can't attest to the name but Rahr and Sons makes mighty fine brew if you like it a bit "hoppy."
You forgot the caption: “ let’s have just one more and then we’ll go.”
