Today, 72 congressmen sent a letter to House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) urging him to insert language ending abortion funding and religious discrimination in Obamacare into any funding or debt ceiling legislation.
[T]he Obama administration has committed unprecedented attacks against the unborn and the religious freedom guaranteed in the Constitution, all under the guise of access to health care, the letter tells Boehner.
The letter implores Boehner to incorporate H.R. 940, the Health Care Conscience Rights Act, along with a cessation of federal dollars for abortions into the continuing resolution or on legislation addressing the debt ceiling.

Yeah like that POS will do anything but cave while trying to pander.
“Today, 72 congressmen ..”
These 72 are probably the best of the best.
Taking away religious freedom from religious institutions, or religious individuals, is just plain demonic.
The Little Sisters of the Poor are among the many, MANY fine organizations who will be hurt by Obamacare, particularly because of the HHS mandate against their First Amendment right to religious liberty.
Since they will not violate their conscience, such as covering abortion-inducing drugs with their health insurance for their employees, they will be imposed with penalties which would cause all of their U.S. homes, serious financial difficulties. Like all Catholic charities, the Little Sisters of the Poor helps needy people of all faiths.

Poll to Freep: Would you support defunding Obamacare if it led to a government shutdown?
Same with the Shriners Hospitals. They will have to close.
Can’t Congress slap a cease and desist order on Obamacare while they go through the law piece by piece for constitutionality?
agree but lets hold our fire for a day or so. It appears he may be on to something.....
abortion is the abomination that causes desolation.
No, since that abomination is specific to Jerusalem. But it is an ongoing abomination in and of itself.
