Since gun sellers call the shots at the NRA, the lobbying group launched an effort to punish Colorado legislators who stood up for public safety over gun seller profits. Now, two thoughtful Colorado legislators have been recalled and the NRA is crowing at having exercised its muscle once again.
The claim that the state can unilaterally decide to nullify federal law is so preposterous that even the strongest of gun advocates with some understanding of Supreme Court precedent acknowledge its invalidity.

Since abortion money calls the shots at CNN...
"The claim that the state can unilaterally decide to nullify federal law is so preposterous that even the strongest of gun advocates with some understanding of Supreme Court precedent acknowledge its invalidity."
Takes precedent over the simple language of the Bill Of Rights ...
I see ...
Johnny Boy Donohue is a supreme DOOFUS. I can just see it in his face.
Someone should buy this DOOFUS copy of the Constitution, AND the federalist papers.
But I think he is maybe too stupid to comprehend what he is reading.
Hey, Yo! Johnny the DOOFUS Donohue, go read the the 10th Amendment. Re-read it about 100 times.
Maybe your inconsistent brain matter might get a clue. But I doubt that, you are not smart enough.
Gun lunacy is right. Keep your damn hands off the 2nd Amendment you “thoughtful” Nazis !
hum.
A guy borrowed money from his grandmother, so he could start the petition drive. If the NRA was so involved why didn’t they help the guy out /s/
Lunacy Rides High at CNN!
The recall started as a grassroots effort. Bloomberg spent $350 million to try and stop it, which this clown conveniently neglects to mention. In the end, the voters of CO made the call.
Bump!
It may be "preposterous", but something similar occurred back in the 1860s and half a million people died as a result. It could happen again. And it comforts me to know that those who write for CNN will be on the side of those who wish to be disarmed.
What do expect from CNN, the communist news network? I firmly believe that the first requirement for employment with them is a frontal lobotomy.
The progtards have their panties in a knot at CNN. What a shock.
“Since gun sellers call the shots at the NRA...”
Utter bullsh*t from CNN.
Letting Marbury vs. Madison stand was probably a mistake.
He should have spent $350mm; he only spent a measly $350k. He’d have gotten his NYC-Nazi ass kicked wither way.
First Amendment lunacy rides high at CNN!
Eleanor Clift on The McLaughlin Group that the Koch Brothers are forcing Americans to buy guns.

Oops you’re right
Gay lunacy rides bareback on CNN.
Stated like a true, big-government, communist Democrat scumbag.
Are they funding the purchases? If so, I’ll take two please.
I didn’t know the NRA was behind the recall move.
For a second the title made it appear CNN recognized the lunacy of the anti gun crowd.
forcing? hahahah!!!!
It’s disturbing how the left craves to be dominated by an all-powerful state. They are sick.
Dear CNN: call me back when you actually have a viewing audience. MSNBC is circling the drain first with CNN in hot pursuit to the bottom and irrelevance.

KMA, CNN.
There, fixed it.
guess I be’s a looney.
Cool — the first clause of the first sentence is a lie.
Maybe I’ll skip this one...
This is utter baloney. Gun manufacturing is basically a cottage industry at this point. Even "big" companies like Glock, Ruger and Smith & Wesson employ no more than a few thousand people, and profit margins are lower than most imagine. Yes, they contribute (and with good reason-it is not as if their elected "representatives" represent them), but their piece of the pie is small. The NRA is primarily funded by individual gun owners.
This is a baseless retreading of the leftist "big evil corporations are out to get you" trope. We need to get some real numbers and fight back hard against it.
