Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were the centerpoints of a BritComic group known as “Beyond the Fringe” widely recognized as the seed from which Monty Python sprang.
I remember listening to BTF in college back in the 60s and then coming home from The Army in the early 70s to find that Monty Python had taken the torch and run with it.
