It's coming right at us - The 4th quarter FReepathon.
Perhaps you are aware that the Founder of the site is dealing with a health matter, some details of which may be found here.
Jim Robinson is in need of FReeper Prayers [Jim's update in reply 522]
His major surgery in in a couple of hours. What about if we get a big jump on the fund raising right now, so when he is able to check back in, he has something to smile about - that being a big chunk of the goal met?
I find it unnecessary to justify the need. You may or may not agree. Won't argue or respond to flamers. (They will maybe take their shots.)

The 2014 election cycle is already underway and I am devoting my time to working to put a Constitutional Conservative in the seat that Lamar! is occupying. We need to be able to focus on that and all the activism we can get involved in. So let's get this one knocked out early and get on with the people's business.

I pay monthly, but I told Jim I would send an extra $25 so someone could get him food from Olive Garden when he gets home. I can do that tomorrow.
Is someone going to tell us when he is out of surgery and awake? If someone would do that, he/she could use this thread to report it. I really want to know when it’s over and he is awake, I know I will stay anxious until that notice.

THE SURGERY IS CANCELLED FOR TODAY.
THERE IS A POST THAT HIS HEART RATE IS TOO HIGH SO THEY CANCELLED THE SURGERY AND ARE CHECKING OUT THE HIGH HEART RATE.

The post about the delay was made by Jim but that doesn’t mean he’s on here reading everything. Yes, we need a bunch of money to show up tomorrow morning and more really fast.
We don’t want him to have to watch a donation thread creep along and concern himself with that.

Please folks, keeping things going here shouldn't be such a labor intensive process. Just a few bucks from every Freeper!
