Twenty-five percent of uninsured Americans say they will pay a fine rather than purchase health insurance in 2014, according to a newly released Gallup Poll.

Another 65 percent said they are more likely to purchase health insurance than pay a fine. Under Obamacare, people may sign up for insurance on one of the new exchanges; or they may get coverage through their employer, from Medicaid or Medicare, or by purchasing a plan outside the exchanges. …

Obaba, Reid & Pelosi shoved this bill thru Congress without Republican votes.

Then Roberts declared it law in the Supreme Court & called it a tax.

IF this law (tax) is to apply to everyone, then there can be NO exemptions—no people who get to do as they wish on their own.

That includes all the many companies that Obama- by himself- has declared exempt. He should have no such authority.

That includes ALL of Congress & all of Federal employees.

Either it applies to all or it applies to none.

There can be no CHERRY picking of participants.

Telling those of us who earn very little that we can qualify for tax credits is another dodge-—

I don’t earn enough money to even have to file a tax return.

WHAT TAX CREDITS!!!!???

This pack of lies & burdensome rules has to come to a complete halt.

There was nothing wrong with the health care this country had before Obama came on the scene with his controlling attitude.

Obama is plain out & out NATIONALIZING the health system of the USA.

How come no one wants to use those words???

The main groups who were abusing the emergency rooms are the illegals & the gang members who are here because Pelosi, Reid & Obama didn’t close our borders & because the Just Us department won’t go after the gangs.

Another tidbit of information no one wants to say out loud.

There’s going to be a substantial subsidy for the low-wage worker. I wrote my congresscritter about defunding it & his response that there is a built-in subsidy at 4 times the poverty level, which I think is $44k. All these folks will get Obamacare for free or very nearly so, care of the hard work of others.

Doing my best to think outside of the box, here.

We can sell our houses and rent, not keep money in the banks, make sure we do not have “tax” refunds.

We can even go so far as to wear funny clothing, and teach our children in community schools, declaring ourselves converts to the Amish way of life.

Granted the last is a bit hyperbolic, but creative thinking is the best way to revolt, while remaining lawful.

Those of us who see what is happening can consider it a training period, because the entire house of fiat is going to be falling down, and we will eventually be living that way anyhow.

So you trust that an IRS who just fixed an election by harassing Tea Party groups, will not go after these Tax Felons eventually ?

I wonder how many of those 65% planning to buy insurance actually know what it will cost?”

Only what they are told - that it will cost less than their cell phone bill. What they don’t think about on their own is that they are going to have deductibles and co-pays.

Cell phone bills can be pretty inexpensive, particularly if you just want to use them for an occasional emergency phone. Insurance can also be pretty inexpensive, particularly if you don’t ever plan on seeing a doctor, buying meds or going to the hospital.

I just cited the law.

Do you really think the IRS won't follow a law written exclusively by Democrats?

Yup, they are going to find quickly that even if insurance is available at that price (maybe for a young single person), the out-of-pocket expenses will be significant before it starts to pay any benefits.

This is why I think the Republicans are fumbling away this issue by trying to "compromise". They should just let it take effect, and then campaign loudly for the next 12 months: we tried to warn you, and we tried to prevent it. You want to do something about it? Vote for us in November.

The IRS now has a history of breaking laws. Just ask Lois Lerner.

Nobody will “buy” insurance. There will be millions however who will get insurance and you and I will ay for it while paying increasing premiums and receiving less care and more government intrusion.

From Alex Jones and Infowars? Seriously?

Next, you'll be quoting Art Bell.

I know what you are saying, but it makes sense that knowing Obama, part of the additional thousands of Obama law additions probably included authority and behavior corrections for grabbing the fine money.

No way I believe the Government is going to say, “OK, you don't want to pay, that's fine.”
