Bit early for Halloween, but It is a gem. Spot the ghouls and others associated with Halloween like Poe, and Hitchcock. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

That was epic. There’s so much going on, I’d have to watch it in slow motion to catch everything.

Directed by Guillermo Del Toro, the same guy who did this sequence for the Simpsons. Great movie, as is his "The Devil's Backbone," a ghost story set in a boys' school during the Spanish Civil War.

I’ve seen it five times now and caught something different in each viewing. There are also some things in the background, like a picture of Maggie from an old Treehouse when either Kang or Kodos was her father, and the Great Pumpkin as told by Millhouse.

There are so many good and entertaining horror and monster movies that the whole month of October could easily be filled with them.

A triple feature of, first, for younger children, which ends at 8pm; then for older children, from 8:30 to 10:00; then for adults only from 10:30 to Midnight. Of course, in adult only households, it’s more oriented to gender.

But such a bounty to choose from: classical, suspense, shock, drama, comedy, and “so bad they are good” horror movies. There are, of course, serious and very serious horror movies, filled with grotesque and gore, but they aren’t really in the spirit of Halloween.

Then there is Bammy vs. the Constitution. True horror.
