A former NHS director died after waiting for nine months for an operation - at her own hospital.

Margaret Hutchon, a former mayor, had been waiting since last June for a follow-up stomach operation at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex.

But her appointments to go under the knife were cancelled four times and she barely regained consciousness after finally having surgery.

If I were the coroner, I would classify this woman’s death as a suicide.

But, Obama and his cronies in Congress don’t have to worry about things going wrong for them because they got exemptions.

Uber irony alert

I hope I live long enough to get the satisfaction of seeing (at least some) liberals experience their handiwork first hand.

Most will be too stupid to realize the suffering they have imposed upon their own children. When it happens they will not even comprehend it’s their fault.

71-year old pensioner. One foot in the grave. KA-CHING! Big savings for the "death panel" monthly costs/benefits report. Didn't cost them a thing. All they had to do was wait the old girl out.

The same fate awaits me. Age+family history+Obamacare = death panel review/denial of benefits. I know I've seen my last heart catheterization, and Mohs surgery. I just hope to live long enough to see Obama and every Democrat driven from office broken, penniless, and in disgrace. And, may their barking mothers be struck and killed by the next car they pursue.

This poor woman obviously was absent the funds that could see her receiving more immediate care in some American state. National health care is awesome, as long as you know it’s limitations and fully understand that nothing is free. Taxes pay for the care you receive and waiting in line is your fate, unless you are wealthy.

Canada is a fine example... When the Premier of Newfoundland needed heart surgery he went to the United States. When our former Prime Ministers Mulroney and Chretien had cancer and other health concerns, they went to the USA and when one of our wealthy industrialist KC Irving passed after a very long life, he died in the Boston General Hospital, not his hometown hospital the Saint John Regional.

The question is... Now that the US is going the way of socialized medicine, where do the wealthy go now for immediate health care? China, or Japan perhaps?

“I hope many, many polidiots die from their decisions to screw the rest of us.”

Not as long as Congress exempts themselves from the crappy laws they impose on the rest of us. That says it all. I distrust and despise them for that. If the Republicans give up meaningful negotiations, then likewise I hope they choke to death on their cowardice. I’ll have no use for any of them.

Will they hire bounty hunters to kidnap the good doctors? Or will the good doctors flee to lands where they own the fruit of their labor?

No one can be exempted from the destruction of the miracle that was the American medical machine. Nothing like it will ever be again, sure for a short time there will be isolated islands where the extremely wealthy will be able to buy excellent care but without the American sized engine of free enterprise running full bore the incentive that drives the kind of innovation required to maintain the medical infrastructure that underpins the industry will erode and with it the entire system.

I personally believe that Our Lord had a huge, personal hand in the creation of this country and that includes our free enterprise system.

With that said, Obama and his cohorts are shoving as much as they can directly into the face of God.

So, it will just be a matter of time when all of their machinations will come to naught.

What God hath created - neither man nor beast can not put asunder.

Yes, I agree and the evidence in the names of our great landmarks and cities is indisputable however it seems that we as a nation have turned a deaf ear to God’s commandments and our elected leadership is a reflection of that. We will all have to suffer through this wrath together so it is up to us to keep up the good fight and with the Lord’s help patch up this sinking ship.

God Bless
