Alan Smith says more Poland fans may reduce pressure on England
"It's not going to be 85,000 English people moaning and groaning every time we misplace a pass.

Hodgson: Bring it on
After guiding his side through an unbeaten World Cup qualifying campaign, England face Poland in their final match knowing victory is essential to book a direct trip to next summer's finals in Brazil.

The safety net of a play-off place dangles below should Hodgson get it wrong but he knows that two-legged lottery offers no guarantees.

To be certain, England must win.

"We can do no more," he said. "We've prepared. We're ready. Bring it on."

Sad when you have a soccer and royal-baby based economy.

Amazing fist half, very fluid, Was very good to watch. England took control of the action and Rooney got his excellent header shortly before the half. Second half was slower paced but still great to watch. England did very well but I still had to LoL at their fan waving the WC trophy when the game ended. Was avery entertaining soccer night. I dont think i ever moved so much between rooms.

The Poles are very weak in the midfield, if they want to qualify for the next Euro, they have a lot of work to do. It’s an absolute disgrace that a European country of almost 40 million can’t do any better than 65th in the FIFA world ranking.

Can you believe this?!?!?!

Mexico was out....they were out....and the US scores two late to beat Panama and keep Mexico alive.

Talk about mixed emotions.
