Man who jumped into Bronx Zoo tiger den gets year in mental health facility
The man who wanted to become one with the tiger will become a one-year patient in a mental health facility.
David Villalobos, who survived a September 2012 leap into the Bronx Zoos tiger den, pleaded guilty Tuesday to trespassing in the strange case, the Bronx district attorney said. Braindead bloody hippies.
I guess a year in a mental health facility beats that short period of time he could have spent in the tiger’s intestines waiting for its next bowel movement.
Throw him back in the cage and save us the cost of his treatment, or lock him up permanently. Might sound cold, but does anyone think a year in therapy will fix this guy.
Well, at least he’s got healthcare for a year without having to sign up - maybe the Obamacare web site will be working when he gets out ...
The problem with "becoming one with the tiger" is that you don't stay one with the tiger for very long, and the beginning of the process -- where you become many small parts of yourself in the tiger's teeth -- is where actual gut wrenching takes place. Literally.
Maybe. Or maybe he won’t be cured of his desire to become one with the tiger, but by then we maybe have life “insurance” that pays benefits to survivors for the pre-existing condition of being tiger poop.
Trespassing in the strange case - sounds like a serious charge.
And then there’s speshul sort of crazy.
Throw him to the lions and see how he fares there...
He almost got his wish
